Metric Store
Metric Store assists in quantitative measurements used to assess and evaluate various facets of a system, process, product, or performance. They provide objective data that aids in informed decision-making, track progress, and help identify areas for improvement.
In Genix 25.2 , following are the new features and enhancements
-
Derived Metric- It allows users to create derived metrics using existing basic metrics to generate deeper insights. By applying transformations, formulas, or specific calculations, derived metrics reveal relationships or trends that may not be directly observable from the basic metrics alone. These metrics enable more advanced analysis and decision-making by providing context and highlighting patterns derived from the foundational data.
-
Import and Export Metrics Store Artifacts- It allows users to import metrics, categories, and tags into the existing catalog and enables the export of metrics, categories, tags, and KSH data as a zip file.
-
Email and Push Notifications- It allows users to stay informed about important updates, alerts, and messages within the application. When metrics are refreshed, the application notifies users if a metric value falls below 100. This proactive alert enables users to promptly identify and address metrics that do not meet the expected threshold, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently. Also, users receive an email containing the metric name, value, and relevant details.
-
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for Metrics- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is implemented at the resource level, enabling users to define access permissions for metrics, catalogs, and tag collections. This provides secure and granular control over access to these resources.
